The employer :
Hours: minimum 32 h. / week
with the possibility of overtime and rotating weekends.
Deadline: our client ensure seasonal employment from the beginning of January to end of November.
Requirements:
men / women aged 18 and over are physically strong and have acquired habits of physical labor. Previous experience in agriculture will be an advantage not necessarily foreign language.
Picking strawberries
The main job is to pick strawberries, which are sold at major supermarkets.
Best quality strawberries are picked in small plastic boxes called panetki. They are defined as first quality strawberries, and are sold at major supermarkets. Strawberries are first quality with proper form, with a nice, uniform red color.
Strawberries with lower quality and those with irregular harvested in small plastic boxes. They are called second class strawberries and sold for the production of jams, jams and purees.
Sick and injured strawberries can not be sold but must be picked to '' clean '' plants properly. They are defined as strawberries and waste must be removed in the niches between the rows of strawberries. Cleaning the plants prepares them for the next picking fruit to grow and mature and it is important to keep plants healthy.
If all the strawberries first and second grade and waste strawberries are picked, and plants cleaned properly after picking fruits will contain less second grade and waste strawberries. This allows you to work out more money as you pick more strawberries quality first.
